Greco-Roman athletes Bunker, Guillen and Allen receive draws for opening day at Hungarian Grand Prix

SZOMBATHELY, Hungary – Three U.S. Greco-Roman wrestlers have weighed in and received draws for the first day of competition at the 2017 Hungarian Grand Prix to be held at Szombathely Arena this weekend.
Kicking things off for the U.S. are Raymond Bunker (Villa Park, Ill./U.S. Marines) and Rodolfo Guillen (Duluth, Ga./Unattached) at 66 kg/145.5 lbs., and Malcolm Allen (Mankato, Minn./Minnesota Storm) at 130 kg/286 lbs.
Bunker, a sixth-place finisher at the 2017 U.S. Senior Nationals, will begin his day against Shogo Takahashi of Japan. Takahashi has earned silver medals at the Cerro Pelado International and Dave Schultz Memorial International this year.
Guillen is set to face experienced Hungarian Matthew Krasznai in his opening match. Guillen finished in third place at the Dave Schultz Memorial International in February, while Krasznai was a World Team member for Hungary two years ago.
Allen will look to continue a quality season against Laszlo Balogh of Hungary tomorrow. Allen won the Dave Schultz Memorial International and finished in third place at the U.S. Senior Nationals this year.
The Hungarian Wrestling Federation is providing brackets of the Hungarian Grand Prix at http://www.birkozoszov.hu/. There will also be a live stream of the event provided on unitedworldwrestling.org.
The competition will begin at 9 a.m. local time in Szombathely on Saturday, five hours ahead of U.S. Eastern Time. The finals are scheduled for 6 p.m. local time.
