We have reached the LAST DAY that the wrestling community can vote online for Olympic champion and now 2x NCAA champion Kyle Snyder for the AAU James E. Sullivan Award, given annually to the nation’s top amateur athlete.

VOTE FOR KYLE SNYDER FOR AAU SULLIVAN AWARD
You are allowed to vote once every 24 hours through THIS WEDNESDAY, March 22.

Only three wrestlers have won this award, fellow Olympic champions John Smith, Bruce Baumgartner and Rulon Gardner. It has been 16 years, back to 2000, since a wrestler has won.
NOW IS THE TIME FOR A WRESTLER TO WIN AGAIN.

There is a way you can increase Kyle’s vote total through social media. The AAU be adding votes from anyone using #Snyder4Sullivan and #AAUSullivanAward to the overall public vote. Retweets will count toward the total and the users must use both hashtags in order for their vote to be counted.

Did you enjoy Kyle’s performance over the weekend, winning his second NCAA heavyweight title in spite of a painful rib injury? This is a truly amazing athlete and person who is worthy of receiving this award.

In 2016, Snyder became the youngest U.S. wrestler to win an Olympic gold medal, at the age of 20 with his 97 kg title in Rio. He also won his first NCAA title in what is being called the greatest NCAA heavyweight final ever, beating 2x-champion Nick Gwiazdowski in the finals.

Wrestling is competitive and those in the wrestling community are very driven. As a wrestling family, let’s put in the effort needed for victory. Please make sure to take the time VOTE TODAY for Kyle, and encourage your friends, family and wrestling colleagues to do the same.

Thank you in advance for your participation.
