UWW President Lalovic: "We have new weight classes, new rules and new competition program."

United World Wrestling President Nenad Lalovic announced the new weight classes, rules, competition format and Olympic Qualification system for international wrestling. The sport is moving to a two-day competition format, with 10 weight classes in each style. In addition, there have been some adjustments in the rules, especially in Greco-Roman. The proposed Olympic qualification system is also being released. Lalovic says that all of these changes will make wrestling a more exciting and safer sport.
