See all four U.S. World Champions on 2-hour show on ESPN2 Sunday at 8:30 p.m. Eastern

he final three days of the World Wrestling Championships in Las Vegas will be the focus of a special two-hour show in primetime on ESPN2 on Sunday, September 13 from 8:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. Eastern Time.


It will cover highlights from the final three days of the World Championships, which features men’s freestyle wrestling and women’s freestyle wrestling.


This episode will including coverage of all four U.S. wrestlers to win a gold medal this week at the World Championships in Las Vegas, to include:

• 2012 Olympic champion and three-time World champion Jordan Burroughs at 74 kg in men’s freestyle

• Three-time World champion and five-time World medalist Adeline Gray at 75 kg in women’s freestyle

• 2015 World champion and three-time World medalist Helen Maroulis at 55 kg in women’s freestyle

• The amazing 19-year old World champion Kyle Snyder at 97 kg in men’s freestyle.


The show will also feature a pair of World bronze medalists from Team USA, the exciting James Green at 70 kg in men’s freestyle, and the inspiring Leigh Jaynes-Provisor at 60 kg in women’s freestyle.


The announcing team will include veteran wrestling play-by-play announcer Jason Knapp, and 2000 Olympic champion Rulon Gardner, who will handle the color commentary. The sideline reporter will be Shane Sparks, one of the best in the business.


This is the second ESPN2 show this week from the World Wrestling Championships, as the first three days of the competition was highlighted on a two-hour show on Thursday.


The world came to Las Vegas this week for perhaps the most successful World Championships ever hosted, with record ticket revenue of over $1.1 million, near sellouts the entire week, and an electric atmosphere in the venue.
