World Wrestling Championships nearing sellout in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS – The 2015 World Wrestling Championships promise to be an action-packed and exciting event.
And fans need to act quickly if they still want to see this important event in person.
The final two days of the six-day event are virtually sold out with a small amount of tickets still available for the other four days.
As of Sunday afternoon, a few hundred tickets remain for the first four days of the tournament.
The Worlds are set for Monday through Saturday, Sept. 7-12, at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
Fans can go to Vegasworlds2015.com or the Orleans Arena box office to buy tickets for the event.
The event features stars like two-time World champion and Olympic gold medalist Jordan Burroughs of the U.S., five-time World champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist Mijain Lopez of Cuba, three-time Olympic gold medalists Saori Yoshida and Kaori Icho of Japan, and six-time World champion and Olympic champion Hamid Soryan of Iran
The six-day wrestling event will kick off with the Greco-Roman competition starting on Monday at 10 a.m. Women’s freestyle will start Wednesday with men’s freestyle opening Thursday.
This World Championships takes on added importance as it serves as the main qualifier for the 2016 Olympic Games.
The top six qualifiers in each of the 18 Olympic weight classes – six in each style – will qualify their countries for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
