The Minnesota Gophers wrestling team will be featured guests on USA Wrestling’s College Wrestling Google+ Hangout On Air series this Thursday, Jan. 15, at 3 p.m. (EST).
Joining the guest panel for this event will be Minnesota Head Coach J Robinson, three-time NCAA All-American Logan Storley and Gopher Sophomore Brett Pfarr.
Now in his 29th season at the helm of the Minnesota wrestling program, Robinson has led the Gophers to three NCAA Championships and six Big Ten Championships. 14 individuals have earned the title of NCAA Champion at Minnesota while wrestling for Robinson. He has been named NCAA National Coach of the Year three times.
Storley boasts an impressive three NCAA All-American honors during his first three years of competition for the Gophers. Currently ranked No. 3 at 174 pounds, the Gopher senior is one of the favorites to win the NCAA title in March.
Pfarr is poised for a breakout season, now in his third year with the Gopher program. The Redshirt Sophomore is currently ranked No. 14 at 184 pounds after earning fifth place at the CKLV Invitational and posting a runner-up performance at the Aloha Open.
Fans are encouraged to ask questions to the panelists using either the Google+ Q&A application or by tweeting questions using #GopherHangout.
The Minnesota Gophers Google+ Hangout can be viewed live on TheMat.com and will be archived on the USA Wrestling YouTube Channel for public viewing at the conclusion of the event.
