Seeds announced for Pac 12 Wrestling Championships

Four Oregon State wrestlers earned top seeds for the Pacific-12 Conference championships, set for Sunday at Gill Coliseum. It was the most of any team in the field.
The top-seeded Beavers are freshman Ronnie Bresser (125), redshirt freshman Jack Hathaway (133), senior Alex Elder (157) and redshirt freshman Cody Crawford (197).
Arizona State had three top seeds with Christian Pagdilao (149), Ray Waters (174) and Blake Stauffer (184). Stanford had a pair of top seeds, Jim Wilson (165) and Nathan Butler (285). Also getting a No. 1 seed was Geo Martinez of Boise State (141).
Sunday’s meet begins at 10:30 a.m. with the opening two rounds. Competition resumes at 3:30 p.m. with the consolation semifinals; the championship, third-place and fifth-place matches begin at 5 p.m.
The champions earn an automatic berth in the NCAA Championships, set for March 19-21 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis. Additional wrestlers could also qualify for the NCAAs, depending on their weight class.
