Eight American men ranked in February UWW Greco-Roman rankings

The new United World Wrestling men’s Greco-Roman rankings for February 2015 are now available.
There are eight American athletes that are ranked in the top 20 men’s Greco-Roman wrestlers in the world at their weight class.
The top ranked American is 2014 World bronze medalist Andrew Bisek (Colorado Springs, Colo./Minnesota Storm) at the No. 6 spot at 75 kg.
The next highest American in the rankings is two-time Olympian Spenser Mango (Colorado Springs, Colo./U.S. Army WCAP) who is No. 12 at 59 kg.
Jonathan Anderson (Colorado Springs, Colo./U.S. Army WCAP) is currently ranked No. 20 at 75 kg.
Six athletes who were not ranked in January joined the international rankings for February. Jordan Holm (Minneapolis, Minn./Minnesota Storm) is No. 16 at 85 kg, Caylor Williams (Colorado Springs, Colo./U.S. Army WCAP) is No. 17 at 98 kg, Ben Provisor (Colorado Springs, Colo./NYAC) is No. 19 at 80 kg, Kendrick Sanders (Homestead, Fla./NYAC) is No. 20 at 71 kg and David Arendt (Jacksonville, N.C./U.S. Marines) is No. 20 at 130 kg. Anderson, who is also ranked at 75 kg, is now also ranked No. 18 at 85 kg as well.
Both Provisor and Holm won golds at the Dave Schultz Memorial International. Sanders, Williams and Arendt all won silver at Schultz as well. With Anderson joining the 85 kg rankings, there are now two Team USA athletes ranked at 75 kg and 85 kg.
The top ranked Greco-Roman wrestlers in the world in February were: Hamid Soryan of Iran (59 kg), Davor Stefanek of Serbia (66 kg), Chingiz Labazanov of Russia (71 kg), Kim Hyeon-Woo of South Korea (75 kg), Peter Bacsi of Hungary (80 kg), Melonin Noumonvi of France (85 kg), Artur Aleksanyan of Armenia (98 kg) and Mijain Lopez Nunez of Cuba (130 kg).
