United World Wrestling providing free live webcast of World Cup

LOS ANGELES – United World Wrestling will provide a live webcast of the World Cup, set for Saturday and Sunday at the Forum.
The eight top freestyle nations in the World will compete in a dual-meet format.
Wrestling is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, with two sessions being held each day. Competition will resume on Sunday at 11 a.m. with the first- and third-place matches set for 4:15 p.m.

Team USA will compete in a pool with Russia, Cuba and Mongolia. Returning champion Iran will compete in a pool with Azerbaijan, Belarus and Turkey.
Winners of each pool will meet in the first-place dual on Sunday.
Iran defeated Russia in the finals last year with the U.S. finishing third.
The U.S. team is led by Olympic gold medalists Jordan Burroughs and Jake Varner.
USA Wrestling’s Richard Immel will be providing commentary on the United World Wrestling webcast.
