Eighth season of Folkstyle Tour of America kicks off with the new Las Vegas Royal Crush, October 24-26

USA Wrestling’s popular youth folkstyle event series, the Folkstyle Tour of America, enters its eighth season with a brand new event, the Las Vegas Royal Crush. It all takes place at the Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 24-26.
The Royal Crush will also be kicking off the eighth season of the popular U.S. Future Olympian Rankings. Wrestlers born from 2001-2006 will have a chance to earn points in this series with success at the new event.
The Las Vegas Royal Crush has already registered wrestlers from these 13 states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Utah and Washington.
The event is expected to draw some of the top high school and youth talent in the region, and wrestlers are encouraged to register early to guarantee their spot in the event.

High School and High School Elite divisions weigh in on Friday the 24th and compete on Saturday the 25th, with Fly, Bantam, Intermediate, Novice, and Middle School weighing in on Saturday the 25th and competing on Sunday the 26th.
The top 6 place winners in each age and weight class for Bantam and up will receive trophies, with all of the Fly division wrestlers receiving a medal. In addition to the trophy, the champions in the High School Elite division will also receive a custom singlet.
Specific to the High School divisions, satellite weigh-ins will be available in select areas around the region. Locations will be announced and listed on the event website.

Last year the Folkstyle Tour of America drew over 4,000 wrestlers from all over the country, and total participation for the series has grown in each year of its seven year history.
