SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.—Arizona State wrestling’s three-time All-American and 2011 NCAA Champion at 125-pounds Anthony Robles is set to join the Pac-12 Networks broadcast team as an analyst, it was announced on Monday.

Robles will make his debut on Monday, Nov. 24 in Corvallis, Ore., as the Sun Devil wrestling team, under first-year head coach Zeke Jones, opens the Pac-12 Conference slate at Oregon State at 7 p.m. PT/8 p.m. MT.

Pac-12 Networks is home to 11 televised wrestling matches this season, including the Pac-12 Championships, hosted by Oregon State, Sunday, March 1.

The La Mirada, Calif., native became a national inspiration due to his remarkable story of, despite being born without his right leg, going from walk on for ASU to setting records and winning both conference and national honors throughout his tenure. Following his Sun Devil wrestling career, he spent the 2011-12 season serving his alma mater as a volunteer coach.

His determination and subsequent success earned him numerous honors including the ‘Jimmy V’ award at the 2011 ESPY Awards, the 2011 NFL Hispanic Heritage Leadership Award and being inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2012. Most recently, Robles was appointed by President Obama to the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition in September 2013.

An exclusive motivational speaker for the Washington Speakers Bureau, Robles penned his journey in the book Unstoppable: From Underdog to Undefeated: How I Became a Champion, released in September of 2012.

Four Sun Devil wrestling dual matches will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks this season: at Oregon State (7 p.m. PT/8 p.m. MT, Nov. 24), vs. West Virginia (7 p.m. MT/Jan. 4), at Stanford (11 a.m. PT/Noon MT, Jan. 25), and vs. Cal Poly (6 p.m. MT, Feb. 16).

The 2015 Pac-12 Wrestling Championships, set for Sunday, March 1 in Corvallis, Ore., will also be aired on the Pac-12 Networks.
