U.S. Greco-Roman athletes to compete at Petrov International in Bulgaria, Feb. 21

A group of six U.S. Greco-Roman wrestlers will compete at the Nikola Petrov International in Sofia, Bulgaria, Feb. 21.
Included in the group is two-time Olympian and four-time U.S. World Team member Spenser Mango (Colorado Springs, Colo./U.S. Army WCAP). Mango was fifth at the 2013 World Championships.
Also competing at 59 kg/130 lbs. is two-time U.S. World Team member Joe Betterman (Colorado Springs, Colo./U.S. Army WCAP).
The U.S. has two more entries at the 59 kg/130 lbs. weight class, 2012 World University champion Max Nowry (Wheeling, Ill./USOEC/NYAC) and veteran Nate Engel (Colorado Springs, Colo./U.S. Army WCAP/FTC).
All six U.S. entries will wrestle Friday, Feb. 21. Also on the mats are Erik Nye (Colorado Springs, Colo./U.S. Army WCAP) at 130 kg/286 lbs. and Camden Grimes (Colorado Springs, Colo./OTC) 75 kg/165 lbs.
Along with a Greco-Roman division, there will also be men’s and women’s freestyle contested in Sofia. Team USA will have no entries in those two styles.
