On Friday, December 5thm there will be an invitational dual meet tournament featuring 12 teams, which will be a combination of Colorado clubs and some respected out of state club programs.
On Saturday, December 6th, the open individual tournament will be hosted. Between sessions on Saturday, the Colorado 2014 Schoolboy Dual National Greco Team Champions will be recognized for last year’s amazing championship performance at the Schoolboy Duals.
USA Wrestling is also hosting a practice at the U.S. Olympic Training Center from 9:30AM – 10:45AM on Friday, December 5th. All who participate will get to come on to complex and wrestle in the same building many of the greatest wrestlers in the country!
Rob Cate, Director for USA Wrestling of Southern Nevada, is excited about the event.
"What a great weekend; practicing at the Olympic Training Center, working as a team in the Elementary Duals and wrestling for individual glory at the TOA- King of the Mountain. Our kids look forward for this opportunity all year and went through a really tough series of wrestle-offs to get the travel spot. Team Nevada is honored to be a part of this experience," said Cate.
A total of 16 states from all over the West and Midwest are represented in the preregistration already and there are several satellite weigh-ins available in Colorado and the surrounding states.
