The NWCA has been announcing athletes who will compete at this year’s All-Star Classic on Twitter.
To date, 10 athletes and three matchups have been confirmed to compete at the event, which will be held Nov. 5.
Today, the NWCA revealed that All-Americans Brett Pfarr of Minnesota and Brett Harner of Princeton will duke it out at 197 pounds.
Pfarr, a senior at Minnesota, produced a third-place finish at the 2016 NCAAs in New York City for his first All-America honors. Pfarr also qualified for nationals in 2015 and was a Big Ten runner-up at 184 pounds.
A senior for Princeton, Harner became just the ninth Tiger in Princeton history to earn All-American status when he finished eighth at the 2016 NCAAs. He was also the first wrestler since 2003 to win an EIWA title.
Last week, one competitor at 141 pounds was named in NCAA finalist Bryce Meredith of Wyoming.
