USA v. Iran World Cup dual moved to primetime 9:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN; USA medal match remains 12 midnight ET

STAMFORD, Conn. –– NBCSN has changed the broadcast time for the USA vs. Iran dual meet at the 2016 Men’s Freestyle World Cup wrestling competition to a different time slot today.
Fans can watch this outstanding clash between two of the world’s top wrestling powers on a prime-time tape-delayed basis at 9:30 p.m. ET tonight (Sunday, June 12). This will be a 90 minute show.
Both the USA and Iran have 2-0 dual meet records, and the winner will win Pool B and advance to the gold medal dual meet.
The live stream of the USA vs. Iran dual meet on NBC Sports Live Extra will remain a live broadcast at the originally 3 pm eastern. This is NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, tablets, and connected TVs – will provide streaming coverage for both of Team USA’s qualifying-round and medal-round matches airing on NBCSN.
The USA vs. Iran match will be followed by an NHL Overtime Post Game Show at 11:00 p.m.
The previously scheduled same-day tape-delayed show of the Team USA’s medal-round match Sunday will be broadcast as scheduled at 12:00 midnight ET. This is also a 90 minute show.
Jason Knapp will call the action this weekend from The Forum, alongside analyst John Smith, a two-time Olympic gold medalist and four-time world champion.
