Nelson goes 1-2 to place ninth in Greco-Roman at Henri Deglane Challenge

NICE, France – Duncan Nelson was the lone U.S. entry in Greco-Roman at the Henri Deglane Challenge on Sunday.
Competing at 72 kg, Nelson finished with a 1-2 record and finished in a tie for ninth. All three of his matches ended as technical falls. After a first-round loss to Nika Korshia of Georgia, Nelson scored an 9-0 technical fall over Piotr Lewandowski of Poland in his opening repechage bout. In the next round, he was eliminated by Kamil Czarnecki of Poland, 8-0.
