Four 2022 U20 Freestyle World Team medalists need one more win for a title at the U20 Freestyle Nationals finals at the 2023 Pritchard Companies U.S. Open, presented by FloWrestling on Saturday in Las Vegas.

2022 U17 World Freestyle champion No. 2 Luke Lilledahl of X-Calibur Athletics Wrestling Club teched Cael Nasdeo of Central Pennsylvania RTC, 11-0, to schedule an all Age-Group World medalist final at 57 kg. Jore Volk of Wyoming Wrestling Regional Training Center, a 2022 U20 World Champion, will battle Lilledahl.

No. 5 Tyler Kasak of Pennsylvania, a Penn State commit, stopped defending national champion Vince Cornella, 4-3, at 65 kg. That creates a future Big Ten final with No. 2 Kannon Webster of Illinois, a future Illinois wrestler.

2022 U20 World Team members No. 1 Nic Bouzakis of Pennsylvania at 61 kg and No. 1 Mitchell Mesenbrink of 74 kg rolled to the finals.

Bouzakis needed 100 seconds to tech Jace Rhodes of Hawkeye Wrestling Club, 10-0. Mesenbrink, won in identical fashion, 12-1, over Nick Fea of New York. Mesenbrink, who recently announced his transfer commitment to Penn State, won this event last year.

No. 1 Bennett Berge of Jackrabbit Wrestling Club, a 2022 U20 World silver medalist will challenge Max McEnelly of Waconia Wrestling Club, a 2022 U17 World bronze medalist, in the 86 kg final. No. 6 Christian Carroll of Cowboy RTC, a 2022 U20 Greco-Roman World Team member crashed his bracket with several tech falls and gets No. 9 Bradley Hill of Hawkeye Wrestling Club in the final.
