Qualification for the ANOC World Beach Games 2023 in Bali starts now!

The final three events of the 2022 Beach Wrestling World Series will be considered, as will the first two events of the 2023 season.

Furthermore, the host country is guaranteed one quota place per weight category and per gender, as well as one quota place per weight category and per gender will be made available as invitation places to eligible NOCs to participate at the ANOC World Beach Games 2023.

The ANOC World Beach Games were an international multi-sport event held alongside a number of other major beach events. In 2019, U.S. athletes who qualified were funded by the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee.

The ANOC World Beach Games in 2023 will be held in Bali, Indonesia, August 5-12. The USA had a team of five Beach Wrestlers at the 1st World Beach Games in 2019, including bronze medalist Shauna Kemp.

Wrestlers who wish to qualify for the ANOC Beach World Games will need to compete (and succeed) in a number of these five Beach World Series events. Since 3/5 of the qualifying process is being held this summer, it is important to start this qualifying process right now!!

United World Wrestling has indicated that it is pursuing Beach Wrestling as a possible future discipline in the Olympic Games.
