16U National Duals Greco-Roman All-Tournament Team announced

The 2021 16U National Duals Greco-Roman All-Tournament team has been announced, based upon results from the 16U National Duals Greco-Roman division, held in Loves Park, Ill., on Wednesday and Thursday


Athletes who went undefeated in their dual meet matches in Greco-Roman qualified for the All-Tournament Team, needing a minimum of five victories to be included.


In Greco-Roman, there were 37 athletes on the All-Tournament Team, representing 16 different states. Three states had four athletes make the All-Tournament Team, Virginia, Idaho and Minnesota. California, which won the team title, had three on the All-Tournament Team, as well as Missouri and Iowa. States with two on the team were Indiana, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Alabama, Kansas and Iowa. Those states with one All-Tournament Team member were Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and Illinois.


Winning the most matches of the undefeated Greco-Roman athletes was Maximus Norman of Tennessee (152) with nine victories.


There were 16 athletes who finished with an 8-0 record including Noah Rankin of Virginia (94), Saxton Scott of Idaho (94), Wyatt Ulrey of Indiana Gold (94), Anthony Ciotoli of Virginia (100), Kolter Burton of Idaho (106), Nicolas Owens of Georgia Red, Colt Collett of Oklahoma Blue (113), Declan Koch of Wisconsin (113), Brody Christmas of Alabama (120), Hoyt Hvass of Idaho (126), Tyson Charmoli of Minnesota Blue (132), Braeden Moore of Kansas Blue (132), David Burks of Virginia (145), Robert Kucharczk (170), De’Alcapon Veazy of Indiana Gold (182) and Willie Cox (285).


A separate 16U Freestyle All-Tournament Team will be announced after the men’s freestyle competition concludes on Saturday.
