Missouri dominant in first session of 2022 Southern Scuffle, entertaining quarterfinals pairings set

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- Missouri has had a strong showing on the first day of the 2022 Southern Scuffle, sending 10 athletes to tonight’s quarterfinals.


Missouri is led by multiple top seeds, including Brock Mauller at 157 pounds and Keegan O’Toole at 165 pounds.


Both Minnesota and Iowa have six quarterfinalists.


All of the tournament’s first and second seeds are still alive in the championship bracket. You can find all of the quarterfinals pairings below.


The tournament runs throughout the day today, with consolations taking place this afternoon before tonight’s quarterfinal action begins at 7:30 p.m. eastern time.


USA Wrestling will post the results of the quarterfinals after tonight’s session.


Tomorrow, wrestling begins at 11:00 a.m. with consolation action. The semifinals begin at 1:00 p.m., with the finals and medal matches taking place at 7:00 p.m.
