81 state champions and 66 nationally ranked girls registered for National Recruiting Showcase in Las Vegas, April 28-29

The 2022 National High School Recruiting Showcase for girls will be held at South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa in Las Vegas, Nev., April 28-29.

The field continues to get stronger, with 81 state champions and NHSCA All-Americans registered, as well as 66 athletes who were ranked in the most recent National Girls High School Rankings.

Four 2021 Girls National Recruiting Showcase champions have already registered and will defend their Showcase National titles: Shelby Moore of White River High School in Washington (127), Savannah Gomez of Brawley High School in California (138), Maddie Kubicki of Park Hill South High School in Missouri (144) and
Haley Ward of Fort Osage High School in Missouri (152).

Moore is one of two No. 1 ranked wrestlers from the most recent national rankings to be registered, along with two-time Arizona state champion Audrey Jimenez of Sunnyside High School, who is entered at 106 pounds.

Athletes with a No. 2 national ranking who are registered for the Girls Showcase are Anaya Falcon of Walnut High School in California (106), Destiny Rodriguez of West Linn High School in Oregon (152) and Alivia White of Marysville Pilchuck High School of Washington (180).

Two weight classes already have more than 10 state champions registered: 112 pounds (12 state champs) and 138 pounds (11 state champs).

There is still time for qualified athletes to register for the Girls National High School Recruiting Showcase.

• All High School State Champions (any year)
• All High School State Placers (2022 season)
• National Prep Champions (any year)
• Placer at NHSCA Virginia Beach High School Nationals (any year)

Register for the Girls National High School Recruiting Showcase

Athletes who wish to receive a seed at the Girls National High School Recruiting Showcase must register by Sunday, April 24th at 5:00 p.m. MT.

This event is one of competitions which count towards the Junior and 16U Triple Crown for girls.

The Girls National High School Recruiting Showcase will be one of the nine different events held during the week of the Open Wrestling Championships. The High School National Recruiting Showcase for girls will be held alongside the U.S. Senior Nationals for women, with their championship finals side-by-side on the raised platform at the South Point.

When combined with the Boys National High School Recruiting Showcase, there are 209 state champions or NHSCA All-Americans entered in the National Showcase . (The boys event, held April 1-2 in Iowa), had 128 state champions or NHSCA AAs).
