Audrey Jimenez wins gold at the 2025 Senior Pan American Championships in Monterrey, Mexico.

Audrey Jimenez (Tucson, Ariz./Lehigh Valley Wrestling RTC/Titan Mercury WC) has been named the USA Wrestling Athlete of the Week, presented by U.S. Air Force Special Warfare, on May 14, 2025.

Last weekend, Jimenez, a four-time age-group World medalist, won gold for Team USA at the 2025 Senior Pan American Championships in Monterrey, Mexico.

Jimenez finished off a breakthrough performance on the Senior level in spectacular fashion, pinning Madison Parks of Canada in 3:59 in the gold medal match. The match was tied at 2-2 in the second period when Jimenez locked up a cradle, turned Parks and finished off the fall.

In the semifinals, Jimenez had an impressive come-from-behind technical fall over 2024 Olympic silver medalist Yusneylis Guzman Lopez of Cuba, 18-8. Jimenez got a takedown and a turn to close the lead to 8-6. Jimenez’ next takedown tied the match at 8-8, then she locked up an ankle lace and turned Guzman five straight times to close out the match.

Jimenez won the 2025 U.S. Senior Open in Las Vegas in late April, and has qualified for Final X at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. on June 14.
