Pennsylvania Blue tops California Blue, 48-28, to win 14U Women’s National Duals title in freestyle

Pennsylvania Blue wins the 2025 14U Women's National Duals title in freestyle.
WESTFIELD, Ind.— Pennsylvania Blue bested California Blue in a 48-28 championship dual on Friday, winning the 2025 14U Women’s National Duals title in freestyle at Grand Park Event Center in Westfield, Indiana.
Pennsylvania Blue won ten of the matches in the dual, six by fall. Guilianna Latshaw (105), Isla Silva (100), Elise Gilfoil (130), Madison Helms (140), Camilla Hathaway (150) and Finley Boetsch (165) won their matches by fall.
The dual was back and forth at the start, as California Blue and Pennsylvania Blue exchanged victories in the first several matches. California Blue got on the board first with a 2-1 decision from Mackenzie Amidon (80), and a 10-4 decision from Prisayis Harrell (95) and 10-0 technical fall from Azyah Rice (100) made it an 11-9 score.
Pennsylvania Blue followed with two crucial falls from Latshaw and Silva, paving the way for their team to hold onto the lead.
Five Pennsylvania Blue athletes earned All-Tournament Team honors, going undefeated and winning at least five matches: Giada Croteau (90), Guilianna Latshaw (105), Isla Silva (110), Layla Namerow (120) and Camilla Hathaway (150). California Blue also placed five athletes on the All-Tournament Team: Elaina Soltero (75), Mackenzie Amidon (80), Azyah Rice (95), Leeyah Rodriguez (115) and Cataleya Reveles (130).
