2024 16U National Duals Greco-Roman All-Tournament Team announced

The 2024 16U National Duals Greco-Roman All-Tournament Team has been announced, based upon results from the 16U National Duals Greco-Roman division, held in Herriman, Utah on Wednesday and Thursday.

Athletes who went undefeated in their dual meet matches in freestyle qualified for the All-Tournament Team, needing a minimum of five victories to be included.

In freestyle, there were 46 athletes on the All-Tournament Team, representing 24 different states.

Two states had five athletes make the Greco-Roman All-Tournament Team, Colorado and Idaho. Iowa had four on the All-Tournament Team. States with three team members were Michigan, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Teams with two All-Tournament Team members were Minnesota, Illinois, Texas, Oregon and California. The states with one on the All-Tournament Team were Georgia, Washington, Arizona, Wisconsin, Utah, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Florida, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, North Dakota and Nebraska.

There were 17 wrestlers who won the most matches of the undefeated Greco-Roman athletes with perfect 8-0 records were Onofre Gonzales of Colorado (88), Tristan Pino of Colorado (100), Cooper Mathews of Colorado (100), Tyler Yancey of Texas Gold (126), Deven Lopez of Colorado (126), Jonas DesRochers of Washington (126), Austin Collins of Colorado (132), Drake Morrison of Idaho (144), Preston Scott of Oklahoma Outlaws Blue (157), Macullach Andrews of Florida (165), Ivan Ivanov of Idaho (165), Daniel Patrick of Oregon (165), Carter Temple of Missouri (175), Quintraylon Johnson of Texas Gold (175), Leif Larwin of Oregon (175), Blaise Turner of Idaho (190) and Preston Wagner of Nebraska (285).

The freestyle division of the 16U Nationals begins on Friday and concludes Saturday, with all of the action live on FloWrestling.
