Media Reports: Freestyle National Team member and NCAA runner-up Sammy Sasso reportedly shot in Columbus

Media reports have indicated that Sammy Sasso, ranked No. 3 on the Senior National Freestyle Team, was shot in Columbus, Ohio yesterday.
Sasso is a two-time NCAA runner-up from Ohio State, and a native of Nazareth, Pa. He has college eligibility remaining with the Buckeyes.
USA Wrestling will contine to seek information on these media reports and update as possible. The USA Wrestling community is encouraged to keep Sammy, his family and his friends within wrestling in their thoughts and prayers.
