NC State freshman Isaac Trumble turned heads last weekend when he knocked off Pittsburgh’s No. 5 ranked Nino Bonaccorsi, 5-1.

In November, Trumble claimed a UWW Junior Nationals title in Greco-Roman, picking up two technical falls in two matches without surrendering a point. In the finals, Trumble squared off with San Francisco State’s Denzel Mabry, a 2020 Senior Nationals seventh-place finisher.
