Match of the Day: Josh Edmond and Bryce Andonian wrestle in the UWW Junior Nationals finals

After a nail-biting, 11-9, opening-round match, Missouri’s Josh Edmond went on a tear at the U23 Nationals. Edmond, a freshman, picked up three technical falls and a pin en route to the finals. On the other side of the bracket, Virginia Tech sophomore Bryce Andonian recorded two pins, two technical falls and a 15-15 semifinal barnburner over Rutgers’s Sammy Alvarez.
Edmond is a 2018 Fargo 16U champion and has started his freshman campaign with six-straight wins. Andonian is a 2018 Fargo Junior champion and currently ranked No. 16 at 149 pounds in the FloWrestling rankings.
