Titan Mercury Wrestling Club announces virtual fall clinic series, featuring World champions & Olympians

San Marino, CA, — Titan Mercury Wrestling Club has announced a new Virtual Training initiative for youth, high school and college wrestlers that kicks off this Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 8:00am PT. The TMWC Fall Zoom Clinic Series will feature three 90-minute wrestling clinics, each hosted by three senior-level TMWC athletes. 2019 World Champion Tamyra Mensah-Stock will be a featured clinician in all three clinic sessions. World Champion Jacarra Winchester, 2012 Olympian Jared Frayer, 2018 NCAA Champion Mike Macchiavello, 2019 US Open Champion Precious Bell, 3X NCAA All-American Alec Pantaleo and 2018 World Medalist Mallory Velte.

The first clinic will run from 8:00-9:30am PT this Saturday, September 26th, 2020. Clinic #2 will be from 4:00-5:30pm PT on Monday, September 28th and the final clinic session will be on Saturday, October 3rd from 8:00-9:30am PT.

TMWC Senior Women’s Freestyle Coach Marcie Van Dusen-Lane spoke about bringing together multiple senior-level wrestlers for this new training initiative:

“We are better together. Whether that is women’s or men’s wrestling at all levels, its simply better when we work together to grow the sport.”

As most training in the United States is still impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic, this special virtual training experience will give wrestlers of all levels an opportunity to learn and interact with TMWC athletes on our Zoom platform, regardless of their current training situation.

Each clinic will feature technical wrestling instruction for the youth, high school and college levels, as well as concluding each session with a drill and workout.
