Match of the Day: Mason Manville and Kamal Bey wrestle in the 2017 World Team Trials finals

Mason Manville and Kamal Bey, two of the top young Greco stars in the U.S., met in the 2017 World Team Trials finals. At the time, Manville was training at the USOPTC during a gray shirt year before enrolling at Penn State. Bey was also at the USOPTC, a move he made during his senior year of high school.

Manville would go on to win the spot and represent the U.S. at the World Championships in Paris, France. Bey made his second Junior World Team and brought home gold. The following year, Manville and Bey would meet in the World Team Trials finals again, with Bey coming out on top.
