The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is hosting Facebook Live video sessions every Wednesday in April, at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
This week's featured guest is 2000 Olympic champion Brandon Slay, who currently serves as Executive Director and Head Coach of the Pennsylvania Regional Training Center. A three-time Texas state champion, Slay attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a two-time NCAA finalist. As a USOPTC resident athlete, Slay made the 2000 U.S. Olympic Team, and at the Sydney Olympic Games, he shocked superstar Buvaisa Saitiev of Russia on the way to the title. From 2009-2016, Slay was an Assistant National Freestyle Coach for USA Wrestling. He currently runs and coaches one of our nation’s most successful RTC programs. Slay has long been an outstanding public speaker who shares his faith journey with others.
The entire wrestling community is invited to join at:

These events are hosted by Heath Eslinger, FCA Wrestling Southeast Central Director and former head coach at UT-Chattanooga. Joining as a co-host is past NCAA champion and FCA Wrestling Midwest Director Mark Ellis.
Each week at least through May, the FCA will announce who will be their guest on this special Facebook Live session. The first week's guest on April 1 was Tom Ryan, head coach at Ohio State University. The second week’s guests on April 8 were Jordan and Lauren Burroughs. The third week’s guests on April 15 were Helen Maroulis and Larry Brey. The fourth week show on April 22 featured Steve Garland, head coach at Virginia. Week five’s show on April 29 featured the inspiring Richard and Gina Perry. During week six on May 6, Olympic champion and two-time World champion Kyle Snyder was the special guest.
In addition to the live opportunities, archives of the past Facebook Live videos are located on the FCA Wrestling Facebook page, under the videos tab. Many people who were not able to attend the live programs can go back and watch them at another time that is convenient.
