Helen Maroulis made a successful return to international competition at the 2020 Pan Am Olympic Qualifier in Ottawa, Canada, last weekend. Maroulis went, 4-0, advancing to the finals before injury defaulting out of the tournament. She defeated some stiff competition on her way to qualifying the weight class for the Olympic Games, including 2019 World champion at 59 kg Linda Morais of Canada.
