Iowa puts seven into Big Ten semifinals to take early lead at RAC in Rutgers

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – No. 1 ranked Iowa placed seven athletes into the semifinals after an exciting quarterfinal round at the Big Ten Wrestling Championships at the RAC at Rutgers University.
2019 Big Ten and NCAA champion Penn State pushed six into the semifinals, Nebraska and Northwestern earned five semifinalists, while Minnesota and Michigan had four semifinalists.
When the session ended, Iowa was in first with 72 points, Nebraska was second with 58.5 points and Penn State was third with 56.5 points.
