With the Div. I college season about to open in a few weeks, we went to the vault for a great victory by a current NCAA head coach, Zeke Jones of Arizona State. The setting was the dual meet between the United States and the Soviet Union for the team title in the sold-out Hec Edmondson Arena at the 1990 Goodwill Games in Seattle, Wash. At 52 kg, Jones battled tough Sergey Zambalov at 52 kg. A wrestler at Arizona State, Jones had competed at the 1989 World Championships, but still was making his name on the international level. Check out the exciting finish of this tremendous match.
