With the Div. I college season about to open in a few weeks, we went to the vault for a great victory by a current NCAA head coach, Zeke Jones of Arizona State. The setting was the dual meet between the United States and the Soviet Union for the team title in the sold-out Hec Edmondson Arena at the 1990 Goodwill Games in Seattle, Wash. At 52 kg, Jones battled tough Sergey Zambalov at 52 kg. A wrestler at Arizona State, Jones had competed at the 1989 World Championships, but still was making his name on the international level.
