Match of the Day: Familiar opponents LaMont and Miranda wrestle for U23 Nationals title

Taylor LaMont and Randon Miranda were both undefeated and unscored upon entering their match in the final frame of the 60 kg round robin at the U23 Nationals in Omaha, Nebraska last month. LaMont, a seven-time age-group World Team member and 2016 Junior World bronze medalist, and Miranda, a 2018 U23 World Team member, have faced off numerous times in their careers. Their most recent battles took place in the 2019 U23 finals, where Miranda defeated LaMont, two matches to one. While both placed at the 2020 Senior Nationals with LaMont taking third and Miranda fifth, the pair did not meet in the bracket.
