Gracie Figueroa and Michaela Beck were teammates on the 2019 Junior World Team, with Figueroa competing at 53 kg and Beck at 59 kg. Figueroa, a 2016 Cadet World bronze medalist, moved up to 59 kg for the 2020 Junior Nationals, setting up a clash with Beck in the tournament finals.
