Jake Hendricks had a busy weekend at the U23 and UWW Junior Nationals in Omaha, Nebraska last month. Hendricks, a 2017 Cadet World Team member who currently wrestles for Penn, won the Junior Greco-Roman bracket, finished runner-up in the U23 Greco-Roman bracket and took eighth in the Junior freestyle bracket. He was the only wrestler in the tournament to place in three separate brackets.
In the Junior Greco finals, Hendricks took on 2019 Junior Fargo runner-up Jacob Anderson. Hendricks also defeated Anderson in the round-of-12 of the Junior freestyle bracket to earn a podium placement.
