Mitch McKee and Ian Parker collided in the round of 16 in the 61 kg bracket at the U23 Nationals. McKee, a 2019 NCAA All-American and 2020 NWCA Second-Team All-American, and Parker, a 2020 NWCA First-Team All-American, put on a show, lighting up the scoreboard with points.

The pair met once during the NCAA season with McKee winning an 8-0 major decision at the 2019 Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational.
