Match of the Day: Roman Bravo-Young and Peyton Robb face off in the 2015 Fargo Cadet Greco-Roman finals
by USA Wrestling
The Cadet brackets in Fargo can be interesting because you get to see some high-level matches that will never occur again. For example, in the 2015 Cadet Greco-Roman finals at 113 pounds, Roman Bravo-Young squared off with Peyton Robb.
Bravo-Young has manned 133 pounds for Penn State the past two seasons, while Robb took over 157 pounds for Nebraska after a redshirt year. Barring a late growth spurt, these two will likely never clash again.
Both of these wrestlers have seen substantial success at the college level. Bravo-Young placed eighth at the NCAA tournament as a true freshman and was named a 2020 NWCA First-Team All-American this season. Robb went 22-3 in his redshirt year, and in 2020 he was named an NWCA Honorable Mention All-American.
