Match of the Day: Tiare Ikei overcomes an eight-point deficit in the U.S. Open semifinals

Elite Accelerator Program athlete Tiare Ikei won the 2019 U.S. Open at 53 kg. What made this already impressive achievement even more incredible, is that Ikei was just 17 years old at the time.
To even reach the finals, Ikei, a 2018 Junior World bronze medalist, had to dig herself out of an eight-point hole against Cody Pfau in her semifinal match. Pfau, a three-time WCWA champion, is also a three-time Junior World Team member and two-time U23 World Team member.
