The first month of the college wrestling season is loaded with Open tournaments, where college wrestlers of every level test themselves out in the early season. We will post results (and some stories) from a variety of Opens where Div. I athletes were included. We will also make some notes from each event

At Laramie, Wyo., November 3
Notes: Northern Colorado won five of the 10 weight classes, with the debut of heralded freshman Andrew Alirez, the champion at 149. Competing unattached, Theorius Robison won at 133, beating nationally ranked Montorie Bridges of Wyoming in the finals.
