TALLINN, Estonia – The first five U.S. Greco-Roman wrestlers have received their draws for the UWW Junior World Wrestling Championships, and will begin competition on Friday.

2017 Cadet World champion and 2018 Junior World bronze medalist Cohlton Schultz (Parker, Colo./Sunkist Kids/EAP) will open against Dariusz Vitek of Hungary, a bronze medalist at the 2019 European Junior Championships.

Schultz will be competing in his sixth age-group World Championships for Team USA. This will be Schultz’ third Junior World Team, also competing in 2017 and 2018. He competed on two Cadet World Teams (2016 and 2017) and the 2018 U23 World Team. Schultz wrestled Greco-Roman in all six of these competitions.

He made his mark on the Senior level this year, placing second in Final X and winning the Senior World Team Trials Challenge Tournament. Schultz is going into his freshman year at Arizona State.

2018 U.S. Junior World Team member Alston Nutter (Fennimore, Wis./Sunkist Kids/NMU-OTS) will face Zaur Nuriyev (Azerbaijan) in his first bout at 63 kg/139 lbs. Nuriyev was 10th in 2019 European Junior Championships.

Ragusin won three Cadet National titles in his career, two in Greco-Roman and one in freestyle. Ragusin is a rising freshman at Stanford.

At 87 kg/191.5 lbs., Michigan State wrestler Cameron Caffey (Carbondale, Ill./Michigan State) will open up against 2018 Junior World bronze medalist Ilia Ermolenko of Russia, who was also a 2019 European Junior champion.
