The U.S. Marine Corps Girls Folkstyle Nationals is the annual national championships for girls in folkstyle wrestling, which is also known as scholastic wrestling.
The U.S. Marine Corps Girls Folkstyle Nationals will be an important event for the new National Girls High School Wrestling Rankings, organized by USA Wrestling, FloWrestling and the National Wrestling Hall of Fame.
So far, over 70 nationally ranked high school wrestlers are registered for at least one of the tournaments, including four No. 1 ranked wrestlers. These athletes are competing in the Cadet, Junior and in some cases U23 Nationals, and many are competing in more than one age level.
High school wrestlers who turn 18 years old this year (in 2018) can also enter the U23 Nationals. Please remember that when registering!!!
There also looks to be healthy increases in entries for the youth divisions at the Girls Folkstyle Nationals, which include the Schoolgirl, Novice and Intermediate age levels.
