Illinois snags second-consecutive Greco Junior Duals title

TULSA, Okla. – The Greco-Roman Junior Duals concluded on Thursday in Tulsa, Okla., with Illinois taking home its second-consecutive Greco team title.
The Land of Lincoln defeated Oklahoma Outlaws 1 in the finals, taking 11 of the night’s 15 bouts for a 42-21 win.
Finishing in third was Washington, which defeated Ohio 1 in a close one, 35-32. Minnesota 1 took fifth in the gold/silver pool, claiming a dominating 47-18 win against Iowa. Wrapping up the top-eight in the championship pool was Nebraska 1 finishing in seventh by edging out California, 35-32.
