Thomas Gilman, a 2017 World silver medalist, sat down with USA Wrestling on Thursday as he was in town for his World Championships evaluation, which included him meeting with the freestyle World Team coaches and breaking down his tournament as well as coming up with a plan for the 2019 season.
In October, Gilman made his second-straight World Championships appearance and finished fifth in the world at 57 kg.
In the interview, he discusses his 2018 Worlds performance, the World Team evaluation process and not worrying about domestic competition but focusing on his international opponents.
