Tickets for UWW Freestyle World Cup in Iowa City now available, along with Iowa wrestling single-dual tickets

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Ticket packages to the UWW Freestyle World Cup and single-dual tickets for the 2017-18 University of Iowa wrestling season became available to the general public beginning Wednesday, Nov. 1.
Following the NCAA season, Carver-Hawkeye Arena opens its doors April 7-8 to host the most prestigious international dual tournament in the world. The UWW World Cup features the top eight men's freestyle teams in the world, including the 2017 UWW World Champion, United States.
Team USA features Hawkeye All-American and world silver medalist Thomas Gilman, and Olympic medalists Jordan Burroughs, J'Den Cox, and Kyle Snyder.
Ticket opportunities for the World Cup include a Gold all-session package, a Black all-session package, and standard all-session tickets. Visit worldcupiowacity.com for more information.
The Hawkeyes home schedule features visits from top 10 programs Oklahoma State, Michigan, and Minnesota, and eight total dates, including five Friday duals.

Gold Package - $225 (preferred seating)
• 2018 UWW World Cup all-session preferred seating ticket within 10 rows of the competition mats.
• One (1) parking pass in a reserved lot (per 4 tickets ordered - no option to select the lot)
