Flowrestling to broadcast UWW Cadet and University Nationals in Akron, Ohio, June 2-4

The 2017 UWW Cadet and University Nationals will take place June 2-4 at the Louis and Freda Stile Athletic Field House on the campus of the University of Akron, and will be broadcast in its entirety by Flowrestling.
The Greco-Roman competition in both the UWW Cadet and University age divisions will be held on Friday. The following two days will feature men’s freestyle action in both divisions. The tournament is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. (ET) on all three days of competition.
The UWW Cadet Nationals will serve as the selection process for the U.S. Cadet World Team that will compete at the Cadet World Championships in Athens, Greece, this September. Champions in every UWW Cadet weight class except 125 kg/275.5 lbs. will qualify for the World Team.
Cadet World champion Kurt McHenry and Cadet World bronze medalist Travis Wittlake Jr. are among those registered in the UWW Cadet Nationals field.
The University Nationals field will feature many of the top college stars currently competing at the NCAA level. Past NCAA champions Myles Martin and Jason Tsirtsis are registered to compete in Akron, with others expected to enter the men’s freestyle field.
Several defending Greco-Roman champions will seek back-to-back titles this weekend. Among these Greco-Roman standouts include U.S. World Team member and Junior World bronze medalist G’Angelo Hancock and Olympic Trials runner-up Geordan Speiller.
Every match from the UWW Cadet and University Nationals will be live streamed and archived online at Flowrestling.com. Brackets for the event will also be provided by Flowrestling on its FloArena platform.
