Lehigh's Darian Cruz STUNS undefeated Thomas Gilman in NCAA semifinals

No. 4-seed Darian Cruz is headed to the NCAA finals at 125 pounds after taking out undefeated and top-ranked Thomas Gilman of Iowa in the semifinals on Friday night at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis. Mo.
The bout was scoreless with under 10 seconds left when Cruz notched a takedown on the Hawkeye to go up 2-0. Gilman escaped just before the buzzer and forced the match into overtime, adding a point for riding time. In a crazy scramble in sudden victory, Cruz came out on top, earning a spot in the finals with a 4-2 win.
