USA Cadet Greco-Roman team to compete at Croatia Open in Zagreb, Croatia, June 17

A team of 13 U.S. athletes will compete in a UWW Cadet Greco-Roman tournament on Saturday, June 17, the Croatia Open hosted in Zagreb, Croatia.
This tour team was put together to provide a valuable international tournament to motivated Cadet-age wrestlers who are seeking to excel in Greco-Roman.
Leading the delegation is 2016 Cadet World Team member Cohlton Schultz of Colorado (100 kg), who earned a spot on the 2017 UWW Cadet World Team with a win at the UWW Cadet Nationals in Akron, Ohio in early June. He also made the 2017 UWW Junior World Team, with a win at the UWW Junior Nationals in Las Vegas in April.
Most of the team includes athletes who have been successful within USA Wrestling’s age-group program, either at the national or regional levels.
Past UWW Cadet National All-Americans on the team include Nathan Rubino of Nebraska (42 kg), Camden Russell of Nebraska (54 kg) and Dominic Damon of Washington (63 kg). A past Cadet Nationals All-American from Fargo who is on the roster is Bryson Alsteen of Wisconsin (76 kg).
Coaching the USA team are respected coaches Lucas Steldt of Wisconsin, and Olympian Shawn Sheldon of Florida.
The group will also participate in training while in Europe.
