U.S. draws Russia, Azerbaijan and Georgia in Freestyle World Cup pool

United World Wrestling has released the draws for pool play at the 2017 Freestyle World Cup to be held in Kermanshah, Iran next week.
The U.S. team has been drawn into Pool A alongside Russia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. Pool B features teams from Iran, Turkey, India and Mongolia.
Nations will wrestle all three rounds of group action on February 16 to determine pool placements. On February 17, teams will cross over to face their counterpart from the opposite pool in a placement match. The championship match will be held at 5:30 p.m. local time (9:30 a.m. ET) that Friday.
