Thomas Gilman talked about his day in Paris, when he powered through the 57 kg weight class to reach the World Championship finals, where he was defeated by Yuki Takahashi of Japan. Gilman was competing in his first Senior World Championships, right after he completed his college career at the University of Iowa, where he was a three-time All-American. Gilman gave an honest assessment of his performance in Paris, and talked about what it will take to improve and become a World champion. Website photo by Larry Slater.
